Not so much of a Blog post as an Open Question! We do several dishes on the smokers that involve fruit…one of my personal favorites is our pineapple casserole!
We’ve done a number of whole fruits on the smoker with varying degrees of success…Apples, Peaches, Pineapples and the like. We’ve used quite a few preparations as well…from a simple sauce to basting in elaborate sweet basting sauces…some good, some not-so-much!
Wondering if any of the Blog readers have had experience specifically with smoking fruits at low temps?
